Puzzle trails, drawing and coloring, games, playground 'The Children's Forest': specially for children!
Children can also have a great time in the Gardens. We have developed games and puzzle trails that are fun during a walk through the Gardens:
- For children aged 3 to 6, there is a cheerful search sheet. Have you found everything? Then you can craft a beautiful diorama out of it!
- Children from the 3rd grade onwards go on a real discovery tour, flying through the gardens with the bird Kootje - full of surprises and nature facts.
- The special place for children is 'The Children's Forest'. This is a large play area in the Gardens where children can romp and play all kinds of (family) games. Such as a large family board game and Connect 4. Thanks to a legacy, we have recently been able to place all kinds of new play equipment that you don't see in 'ordinary' playgrounds. A challenge for children!
- There are also games, drawing pencils and paper, and puzzles ready for the children in the Tea House. While you as a parent/guardian enjoy a drink with something tasty or a lunch, the children have a lot of fun and entertainment, and their own soft drink.

Do you also like flowers and gardens? Then go on a hunt for the pictures and see what you can discover.
Do you want to create your own beautiful garden? Color the pictures, cut them out, and glue them into a shoebox. This way you can create your own Mien Ruys garden photo showcase box.
